Cardholders can accumulate points by swiping their cards with the China Construction Bank Dragon Card (except for transactions or merchants designated by China Construction Bank that do not accumulate points). Points include comprehensive points and special points.

1. Comprehensive points: Cardholders who use Dragon Card credit cards will earn 1 point for every RMB 1 spent (rounded up based on the transaction amount); 7 points for every US$1 spent; and 1 point for spending with a European travel card. EUR 9 points. Special points refer to services that serve the product rights and interests of some credit cards (such as car cards, airline co-branded cards, etc.) and provide points accumulation and point redemption in accordance with specific product rights and interests rules. Holding the Shanghai Volkswagen Dragon Card will earn 1 point for every RMB 166 (or equivalent foreign currency) spent (accumulated in integer multiples of 1 point).

2. The points of the cardholder’s main card and supplementary card are combined and calculated, and the points generated by the consumption of the supplementary card are accumulated to the main card. Points are valid for a maximum of five years (calculated in calendar years, including the year in which points are accumulated). Points accumulated between January 1 and December 31 of each year (i.e. the "first year") will expire on December 31 of the fifth year. Period, all cleared uniformly. Points accumulated before December 31, 2016 (inclusive) are permanently valid.

Example: The points accumulated between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 will expire on December 31, 2021. The remaining points will be automatically cleared and cannot be restored.
