Great Wall Debit Card can withdraw money from self-service equipment with China UnionPay logo, and the funds in RMB account in the card can be used for settlement. The withdrawal currency is overseas local legal tender. UnionPay debit cards use UnionPay network at overseas ATMs and POS, debit cards trade quotations overseas, and bank cards are accepted overseas. I suggest you check with unionpay international. The charges for overseas cash withdrawal are as follows: cross-border ATM cash withdrawal is charged at 5‰ of the cash withdrawal amount, with a minimum of 15 yuan and a maximum of 50 yuan/transaction. The actual expenses shall be subject to the local branch of China Bank. You can call the customer service hotline of Bank of China at 95566 for enquiry.

Reminder: After communication with unionpay international, it is confirmed that due to the influence of VISA's transaction standard for "4" prefix cards, the debit cards with the first six card numbers beginning with 45635 1 used by BOC may not be used normally in Australia (including Australia and New Zealand) and Malaysia. If there are cross-border payment needs (such as studying abroad), it is recommended to change the UnionPay standard debit card (magnetic stripe card) starting with "62".
