The Bank of Communications credit card has been blocked, can it be unfrozen?

After your Bank of Communications credit card is frozen, you need to proactively contact the bank to request for unfreezing. First, call the bank’s customer service to ask about the reason for the freeze and whether it can be unfrozen. Some cards are frozen and basically require you to cancel your account. No matter what information you provide, they cannot be unfrozen. Some may be caused by risky transactions or suspicious transactions (cash-out), and transaction certificates may be required. If the overdue situation is not serious, as long as the credit card center confirms that your debt has been paid off, it will immediately handle the unfreezing process for you. After unfreezing, your credit card can be used. If the bank agrees to unfreeze, you still need to follow the original steps to activate the card.

1. Bank of Communications credit card customer service hotline activation

You can activate your card by calling the 24-hour customer service hotline shown on the back of the Bank of Communications credit card. For specific operation procedures, please follow the voice prompts.

2. Bank of Communications Credit Card Online Activation Process

You can log in to the Bank of Communications Credit Card Center homepage and Bank of Communications Credit Card Online Banking to activate your credit card.

Warm reminder:

1. If you do not select the "Use password to confirm transaction" function when filling out the credit card application form, you can make purchases by swiping your card after activation.

2. If you choose the "use password to confirm transaction" function, you must set a transaction password in online banking or telephone banking before you can use this password to make card purchases.

3. If the credit card activation information is entered incorrectly three times, it will not be activated in online banking or telephone banking. Please call the customer service hotline shown on the back of the card for manual activation.

4. The home phone number is the residential phone number registered by the main card holder, and there is no need to enter the area code and extension number.
