If the cardholder is too late to go to the bank card department to handle the loss, he can make a phone call to report the loss, but he must go to a China Construction Bank branch within 72 hours to make a formal loss report. , otherwise the loss report will be automatically released after 24 hours.
2. Report loss at an outlet
If a cardholder loses his or her bank card, he or she can apply for a loss report at a nearby China Construction Bank branch. Loss reporting applications can be made at any CCB branch, and there is no need to go to the card issuing branch to report the loss. Applying for a loss report at an outlet is a formal loss report. The formal procedure for reporting a loss is that the cardholder must fill in a loss report application form, submit his/her identity document for verification, and pay a loss report fee and a loss report replacement fee. All financial responsibilities incurred by the card before reporting the loss and within 24 hours after reporting the loss shall be borne by the cardholder.
If the cardholder finds the bank card after reporting the loss, he can cancel the loss report item. Fill out the application form for canceling the loss report. After canceling the loss report, the original loss report handling fee and the card loss report replacement fee will not be refunded.
Notes
Replace the card when it expires: The Dragon Card (Dual Currency) bank card is valid for 3 years and will become invalid upon expiration. China Construction Bank will proactively send you a new card one month before your card expires for your convenience. If you do not want to continue using the card after it expires, please call the China Construction Bank 24-hour service hotline one month before the card expires.
Replace the card in advance: If your card is about to expire within 3 months, and you need to change the card in advance due to special reasons such as going abroad, please call the 24-hour service hotline to apply and destroy the original card yourself. . CCB will handle card replacement in advance and send you a new card.
Damaged card replacement: When your card can no longer be used due to damage, breakage, degaussing of the magnetic strip or incorrect signature, etc., you can apply for a new card; to apply for a reissue, please call CCB’s 24-hour service Hotline, you will need to pay a reissue fee of 20 yuan per card to reissue a new card; please be sure to destroy the old card yourself to avoid unnecessary losses.
Guidelines for emergency card replacement overseas: If your card is lost or stolen while traveling abroad, please call our customer service hotline to report the card loss. We will immediately go through the loss reporting procedures for you, and the loss report will take effect immediately.
A certain handling fee will be charged for overseas emergency reissue cards in accordance with the regulations of international organizations. The VISA card will be charged US$75 per card if the card is successfully replaced (current standard); the MasterCard card will be charged US$148 per card if the card is successfully replaced (current standard). ).
If your card is lost or stolen abroad and you still need to use the Dragon Card (dual currency) bank card while abroad, please call the CCB overseas 24-hour service hotline to report the loss and apply for an emergency replacement. Card. CCB will immediately contact foreign card issuers to apply for an emergency replacement card for you and issue you a new card at the same time. When applying for an emergency replacement card, please confirm that you can stay in the same place for more than 48 hours so that the foreign card issuer can contact you in time and send the card.
Emergency replacement cards can only be collected by the cardholder himself, and a valid ID must be presented when signing for the card. Emergency replacement cards are generally valid for three months and will automatically expire after expiration. To ensure the safety of your card, please destroy the expired card yourself.
