Infrastructure of RV campsites

Just like star hotels and guest houses, there is a huge difference from the simplest camp to the most luxurious camp. But in general, RV campsites will have the following facilities: RV parking spaces, drinking water, lighting and electricity supply, sewage and security services. Of course, RV campsites are much more than that. RV campsites should be comprehensive tourist resorts integrating scenic spots, entertainment, life and services.

RV campsites usually include the following parts: parking area, living area, entertainment area, business area, sports and leisure area, etc. The camp not only has complete facilities, but also has a relatively complete security system, independent drinking water and sewage treatment systems, and is equipped with domestic electricity. The living area has modern sanitary equipment, showers, toilets, and service facilities such as laundry, ironing, and gas. Special emphasis should also be placed on environmental protection, low-carbon emission reduction, and full use of various creative energies to save resources. The camp should also be equipped with supermarkets, post offices, clinics, bars, restaurants, gyms, etc., which can fully meet the daily needs of tourists. In the entertainment and sports area, a variety of sports venues and multi-functional halls such as fitness, ball games, swimming, golf, and children's amusement parks have been opened for tourists to use.

When RV development is not yet very popular, campsites can be roughly divided into: docking campsites and comprehensive campsites.

Parking campsites can generally provide simple RV supplies, such as electricity, water supply, sewage, etc. Most of these campsites do not have pleasant scenery (or are not in famous scenic areas) and have relatively simple facilities, including small shops (supermarkets), fast food, etc. It is about 100 kilometers away from densely populated areas. This type of camp is only used as a place for supplies and short rest during people's journey, and generally they will not stay here for too long. Parking campsites are indispensable, but they do not represent the development direction of RV campsites. Comprehensive campsites are strategically located and have pleasant scenery or are built on lakes, coasts, or scenic spots, so they are very popular. All parking areas and all walking paths in the campground at night have adequate lighting, complete safety and security systems and fire-fighting equipment. The camp not only has cabin accommodation, RV accommodation, tent areas, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, but also a picnic area for tourists, with picnic tables and chairs and barbecue tools. There are children's play facilities, such as swings (swing chairs made of logs) or slides. There are sports venues, including basketball courts, badminton courts, tennis courts, swimming pools, etc. There are complete adult recreational facilities, including fishing ponds, saunas, bars and other entertainment facilities. There is a rental business (boats, fishing tackle, bicycles, etc.). There are gas stations, simple maintenance facilities, etc. There are health service facilities such as small medical stations. The camp is equipped with postal and emergency communication equipment, office facilities (INTERNET (E-MAIL), fax, copying), and an emergency warning system. In case of emergency, all customers can be notified 24 hours a day. The campground accepts credit cards, food ordering services, car wash services and tourist information services. The camp organizes various activities systematically all year round, has a relatively high reputation in the local area, and has close relations with the media, etc.

RV campsites are very common in European and American countries and are mature and have complete management and operation systems and star classification standards. Our country has developed and improved camp standards in line with its national conditions based on learning from foreign experience.
