The length, width and thickness ranges of standard credit cards are:

Length: 85.72mm～85.47mm; Width: 54.03mm～53.92mm; Thickness: 0.76±0.08mm; The radius of the rounded corners of the card is 3.18mm.

Strictly speaking, the size of a standard credit card is 85.5mm*54mm*0.76mm.

What’s interesting is that the length-to-width ratio design of the credit card is exactly in line with the golden ratio: 54/85.5=0.63. I don’t know if it is intentional or just a coincidence.
