1. The Public Security Bureau cannot directly freeze personal bank accounts;
2. If the Public Security Bureau needs to report to the court to freeze the relevant bank accounts involved because of handling cases or judicial needs, the court will send a letter to the bank, and the bank will reply and sign to freeze the accounts as required;
3. The freezing period is six months, which can be extended once if necessary, usually for three to six months;
4. If you are suspected of breaking the law, you can freeze the account permanently.
Reasons for bank card being frozen:
1, Cary received dirty money. The source of this money may be telecom fraud, online gambling, naked chat, money laundering and other funds that commit crimes through the Internet. Many people who do foreign trade business and digital currency encounter this situation more often, which has a lot to do with the fact that most of the actual controllers of cybercrime are abroad;
I participated in online gambling. Many people participate in online gambling, even if they participate once, because their accounts are easily frozen because of the record of recharge and withdrawal;
3. Sell your card and lend it to others. Some people sell or lend their bank cards, online banking and bound mobile phones to others, and as a result, they are used by criminals to collect prepayments or cash withdrawals, and even to launder money. This situation will not only lead to the freezing of the cards they sell, but also lead to the freezing of other cards opened in the same bank.
To sum up, if the bank card is frozen due to suspected fraud and the parties are unaware of it, they should cooperate with the public security organs to investigate. After the investigation is completed, if there are no other problems, the account will be unfrozen in time. If a party uses a bank card to commit a crime, the account may be permanently frozen.
