If you are a new network card customer, you can only activate your credit card through the Bank of Communications counter. Customers with new network cards need to bring the original ID card (second-generation ID card), credit card and the copied and signed card letter when activating your card at the counter (if the card letter is lost, you can download and print it in the credit card application in official website → process help → online application for special card letter download); Non-network new card customers can activate their credit cards through online banking, telephone and mobile banking.
The secondary card cannot be activated until the primary card of the credit card is activated. If the main credit card has been activated at the counter, the lost credit card does not need to be activated at the counter, but can be activated through online banking, telephone banking, mobile banking or SMS.
