If the other party requires you to provide proof of compensation, and the proof of compensation can offset the corresponding payment, this is reasonable in itself, but I do not recommend that you do so.
The reason is also very simple. Although the certificate of compensation can help you avoid certain overdue fees, the certificate of compensation will be reflected in your personal credit report. We all know that overdue credit cards or loan products are very serious and will seriously damage a person's personal credit. But in fact, the certificate of compensation is the most influential behavior in personal credit reporting. If there is a certificate of compensation in your personal credit report, it will make it difficult for you to handle banking business normally in the past five years. Because of this, I do not recommend that you go through the so-called reduction procedure.
1. You need to further verify the identity of the other party.
When you communicate with the collection party, you need the other party to provide their valid identity certificate to verify the other party's identity. In other words, you cannot pass your private information to a stranger, let alone an individual. Most of these borrowers are third-party collection agencies of banks, and they can generally provide information proving their identity.
Second, it is very reasonable to prove through compensation that the reduction or exemption procedure is very reasonable.
For some users whose credit cards are overdue, and some people do not have enough funds to repay in full, banks and third-party institutions are willing to go through the reduction or exemption process to reduce the borrower's repayment burden. This process is naturally reasonable, but it requires the user to provide proof of compensation and the user's signature and seal. To some extent, proof of compensation is a means of transferring debt.
3. I do not recommend that you write a compensation certificate.
As I said above, in your personal credit report, proof of reimbursement is actually more serious than overdue credit. I don’t know how much you want to deduct through the reduction procedure. If the amount is not large, I don’t think you need to write a certificate of compensation to reduce the arrears. The certificate of compensation will be retained in the personal credit report for 5 years, which will seriously affect your future credit business!
