All residents in China who have reached the age of 18 but under 60, have full capacity for civil conduct, have a good reputation and have a legal and stable source of income, and foreigners who live legally in China can apply for credit cards at local postal savings bank outlets.

To apply for supplementary cards, the applicant for supplementary cards must be the parents, siblings, spouse or children of the applicant for the main card, aged between 16-65, and a main card can apply for up to 4 supplementary cards.
