Just bring your personal information to a China Merchants Bank branch and fill out the credit card application form. China Merchants Bank in Tianjin will send your application information to the credit card center. Once approved, the card will be issued.
Applicants for China Merchants Bank credit cards should be between 18 and 60 years old (25 to 60 years old for overseas applicants), have certain financial capabilities and have a good credit record. The credit card application result shall be subject to actual review by China Merchants Bank.
When applying for a China Merchants Bank credit card, in addition to filling out the credit card application form, the applicant must provide a copy of the front and back of the ID card (foreigners should provide passport and residence permit or employment certificate; Taiwanese should provide Taiwan compatriot card and employment certificate) Hong Kong and Macao residents must provide a return permit and employment permit/residence permit) and work certification documents issued by their employer. If the applicant can provide the following information, it will help to increase the credit limit, including copies of China Merchants Bank’s savings account slips in the past three months; original proof of asset balance of the financial account opened by China Merchants Bank; copy of real estate certificate (including my name) A copy of any water, electricity and coal invoice for the property in the past three months; a copy of my car driving license.
