Can the four major banks negotiate to repay the principal if their credit cards are overdue?
Repayment of principal in installments can be negotiated. If China Bank credit card is used for overdue repayment, if the customer can't pay it off for a while, he can contact the bank customer service to negotiate installment repayment.

I. Precautions for overdue negotiation and repayment of credit cards

1. Cardholders can choose to negotiate repayment with the bank after their credit cards are overdue. You can choose to extend the repayment period or stop interest. But banks are financial institutions after all, and credit interest rate is the main profit of banks. Most banks do not agree to negotiate repayment with cardholders, but it is not necessarily that cardholders meet the following conditions!

2. According to the regulations, if the bill owed by the cardholder exceeds the repayment ability of the cardholder, the cardholder will go bankrupt >; If the third-party force majeure factors such as unemployment > serious illness are overdue, the bank needs to negotiate with the cardholder for repayment.

3. Cardholders need to bring some relevant materials that can prove that they didn't intentionally overdue, but went to the bank to apply for deferred repayment because of financial difficulties. It can be the list of intensive care issued by the hospital > bankruptcy certificate > proof of financial difficulties issued by the neighborhood Committee.

4. After the bank receives the materials, it will review them. After confirming that the cardholder meets the conditions for deferred repayment, the cardholder needs to negotiate a repayment plan acceptable to both parties with the bank. In most cases, the solution that cardholders can negotiate is to postpone repayment, which is unlikely to stop.

2. How long will it take for credit card overdue credit reporting to eliminate bad records?

The credit card cannot be cancelled until it is overdue for five years. If the credit card is overdue, it will form a bad record in the credit investigation. As long as the arrears are not paid off, the credit record will always be kept. If the overdue credit card is not due to my own fault, such as the failure of repayment due to bank reasons or the failure of repayment due to external force majeure factors, I can raise an objection to the credit information center of the central bank after repayment, so that the bank can modify the credit information and restore the credit information as soon as possible within 20 days after confirmation.
