1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old;

2. A valid ID card is required to apply for a credit card;

3. The credit status of the applicant is good and there is no bad credit record;

4. Have a stable job and provide proof of work and proof of income stamped with the financial seal of the unit;

5. Other proof of financial resources, such as bank deposits, real estate, automobiles, stocks, bonds, etc., can be provided if conditions permit.

In addition, some card types of Bank of Communications have special application requirements:

1. The youth card requires the applicant to be under 3 years old and have a college degree or above;

2. Business card applicants need to work as doctors, teachers and civil servants.
