The billing date of the 12th means that your credit card has a consumption cycle from the 13th of each month to the 12th of the next month, and the bill will be issued as of the 12th of each month.

The repayment date on the 5th means that the consumption of your current bill needs to be repaid before the 5th of the next month.

Take the May bill as an example: Consumption from April 13th to May 12th is one billing cycle. Repayment must be made before June 5th.
