To apply for an AICPA license, the requirements vary from state to state. Generally, states must meet the requirements of 3 E's, and some states have an additional E requirement:
1. Education: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and above, with a total of 150 credits, and additional accounting and business credit requirements (the credits required when applying for licenses in most states are higher than the credit requirements for application, even if they are in the same state, individual states have the same application and licensing requirements.); < /p>
2. Experience: Candidates must have 1 or 2 years of accounting-related work experience (some states have restrictions, such as firm work experience), CPA signature or supervisor CPA signature;
3.Exam: Passing the four AICPA subject exams is a prerequisite for applying for an AICPA license.
In addition, some states require an E, which is to take an Ethics exam.
