Ctrip's pre-authorized credit card does not need to swipe the card at the airport, and the use of the ID card to collect the ticket is regarded as the completion of the transaction.

Pre-authorization:

Credit card pre-authorization refers to the transaction in which the card issuer or its agent confirms that the license is frozen before the special merchant deducts money;

Pre-authorization will occupy the credit line of the card, and it will be cancelled when the customer settles the pre-authorization;

within 3 days after the pre-authorization, if the customer fails to make settlement, the pre-authorization will be cancelled;

in common parlance, it is a way of advance payment, which can be understood as "deposit". When a consumer books a hotel or a plane ticket with a credit card, the bank will first freeze part of the funds in the credit card as a "deposit" for the merchant's consumption. After the consumption is completed, the merchant can formally deduct this part of the funds after the cardholder signs and confirms it.
