In 2010, Air China's revenue per charged passenger kilometer was 0.6227 yuan. This platinum card member contributes nearly 100,000 yuan in net profit to Air China every year. Based on the calculation of these 5,000 platinum card members, Air China's annual income from these 5,000 platinum card members is nearly 500 million yuan, accounting for 5% of Air China's 10 billion yuan net profit in 2010.
