If the credit card cannot be used when it expires, the cardholder will leave it alone (not cancel the card), and this card will also generate an annual fee. Credit cards, unlike bank cards, will not be automatically cancelled after expiration. If the cardholder fails to pay the annual fee in time, it will be regarded as overdue, thus leaving a bad credit record and affecting subsequent loans such as mortgage and car loan.
