1. Foreign currency consumption is accounted for in RMB (no US dollar bill is issued).

After the "RMB consumption in foreign currency" function is enabled, any foreign currency transaction will be automatically converted into RMB (the conversion exchange rate is the exchange rate on the transaction entry date), and it is only necessary to return RMB according to the RMB bill. Really realize "one card in hand, travel all over the world"!

Setting method: log in to the credit card online banking, and click "Repayment Management" → "RMB automatic foreign exchange purchase" to open it.

(1) The entry function of foreign currency consumption in RMB will take effect immediately after it is activated. Your foreign currency consumption can be inquired in the online banking-RMB unpaid bill interface 2 working days after the transaction date.

② Foreign currency transactions other than USD will be converted into USD by international credit card organizations (in the above process, international organizations such as VISA and MasterCard charge 1.5% foreign exchange handling fee). China Merchants Bank will convert the converted US dollar amount into RMB according to the exchange rate on the bookkeeping date (the selling price of China Merchants Bank in US dollars announced after 10:00 on that day) and record it in the RMB bill.

2. Repaying USD with RMB (using USD to purchase foreign exchange for repayment)

When foreign currency consumption has generated US dollar bills, you can choose to enable the function of "purchasing foreign exchange with US dollar bills for repayment". After opening, RMB repayment will automatically convert foreign exchange purchases into US dollars, giving priority to the repayment of US dollar bills (the exchange rate is the exchange rate on the day you pay), and continue to repay RMB bills after the US dollar bills are paid off.

How to set it up: log in to credit card online banking, and click Repayment Management → Repayment by Purchase of Foreign Exchange. You can also check the "automatic purchase of foreign exchange" function on the application form when you apply for a card.

(1) Foreign currency transactions are not in US dollars, which are converted into US dollars by international credit card organizations and recorded in US dollar bills. (In the above process, international organizations such as VISA and MasterCard will charge 1.5% foreign exchange handling fee. )

②. The amount of foreign exchange purchased in the current period cannot exceed the amount of US dollar bills in the current period, and the exchange rate for foreign exchange purchase is the US dollar selling price of China Merchants Bank announced after the repayment date 10:00.

(3) If the function of purchasing foreign exchange for repayment of US dollar bill and the function of "automatic repayment" of US dollar account are set at the same time, the repayment of RMB will give priority to the purchase of foreign exchange for repayment of US dollar bill, and the difference between the self-deducted amount (full or minimum) set in the current US dollar bill and the agreed amount of foreign exchange purchase will be deducted from the designated US dollar automatic repayment account.

④ After the automatic purchase of foreign exchange is set up successfully, when the cardholder fails to pay off the US dollar bill on the due repayment date, if there is RMB overpayment in the credit card, our bank will automatically deduct the corresponding amount from your RMB overpayment to purchase foreign exchange to repay the US dollar bill.

3. Pay in US dollars.

① Debit card USD transfer repayment: The available repayment methods include online bank repayment, mobile phone repayment and telephone repayment.

② Cash repayment in US dollars at business outlets: Cash repayment in US dollars can be made at business outlets (except Hong Kong). As long as the credit card number is provided, anyone can repay the credit card (the payer must show his ID card).
