SWIFT Code is used by Chinese banks. A Routing Number is not required for remittances from Europe to China, so you only need to provide the SWIFT Code of the receiving bank in China. As an example, the Bank of China Beijing Branch has a bank identification code of BKCHCNBJ110. Its meaning is: BKCH (bank code), CN (country code), BJ (region code), 110 (branch code).

If you are remitting money overseas from China, you must select the corresponding identification code, that is, the Routing Number, based on the region where the payee's bank account is located. The bank's routing number is usually printed on the lower left corner of the front of the check.
