To apply for a CMB credit card, you can't just have social security. Unless you apply for a sub-card, the main card needs a local China Merchants Bank, age 18-60. If you can provide ID card, work certificate and income certificate, you can try to apply. If you apply for a car card, you need to attach a copy of the driving license. If the local branch has clear regulations, the regulations of the local branch shall prevail. The issuance of credit cards is subject to the final audit results.

If you only have an ID card or are underage, you can apply for a supplementary card for your immediate family members (immediate family members are parents, children and spouses).

You can log on to the credit card website, select "Credit Card Application"-"New Customer Application Channel" and apply through the online banking reservation platform of "Easy Reservation, On-site Handling". You can fill in the simple reservation information online and wait for the bank's approval. If it is approved, we will conduct a preliminary examination first. If you pass the preliminary examination, there will be two subsequent card processing processes. One is that if you pass the preliminary examination, a card clerk will contact you to collect it. The other is that you will receive a short message from our bank, asking you to go to the outlet to sign and confirm your application. The details shall be subject to the notice of our bank after the first trial is passed.
