After verifying your identity, press 2 to enter "Amount Inquiry and Adjustment", and then press 3 to enter "Limit adjustment application", then press 2, the system will automatically assess the permanent quota, which will then be sent to your mobile phone via text message. Reply to the text message #TG9403 to increase the permanent quota.

2. Online banking

(1) Log in to China Merchants Bank Credit Card Online Banking (cc.cmbchina.com), click on the one-stop login on the upper right to log in to your China Merchants Bank account;

(2) After successful login, move the mouse to "Account Management". Note that there is no need to click the mouse here;

(3) Keep the mouse still and a series of calls will appear below. Options, find "Account Limit Management" and select "Fixed Limit Adjustment" on the right.

The conditions for permanent credit limit increase of China Merchants Bank generally require holding the card for half a year, normal consumption and repayment, and are also related to income and financial resources. It will be more advantageous to increase the amount if you can provide proof of financial resources that was not provided when applying.

Temporary quota:

When your fixed quota cannot meet your consumption needs, you can apply for a temporary quota from China Merchants Bank, which will take effect immediately after approval. The temporary quota is valid for a certain period of time, and will automatically revert to the original quota after the period is exceeded. After the temporary limit expires, the used temporary limit (the portion exceeding the fixed limit) does not enjoy the revolving credit facility and will be included in the minimum payment amount of the latest bill and must be paid off in one lump sum on the due payment date.
