Autobots and the military are planning a secret war against the Decepticons. As more and more transformers resurface, people find that the history of these robots on earth is much older than they thought. Some officials even speculated that the Autobots recruited the Decepticons and offered to drive them away. Optimus Prime didn't want to leave the earth unprotected and let the Decepticons wreak havoc, so he turned to Sam for help, asked him to be the spokesman of the autobots, and persuaded humans to let the autobots stay. Sam refused.
