1. Apply online and install it yourself. Directly search for the "Yuetong Card" applet on WeChat. Then click "ETC Application" and fill in the corresponding information according to the prompts. Upload photos of the front and back of your ID card. Choose the Etc mail/self-pickup method (if you are close to an ETC service station, you can pick it up yourself, and the staff will help install it). You need to choose a savings card/credit card bound to an agricultural/industrial/construction bank in Guangdong Province as a debit card. Warm reminder: It is troublesome to change cards later, so it is best to choose a stable card. After completing the filling, just wait for the mailing. It usually takes 2-3 days to receive it. You can install it yourself after receiving it.

2. Activate the installation (the most important thing is to read the instructions clearly before operating). Note: Fix it first, then activate Bluetooth! If it is disassembled after activation, the ETC will become invalid! After receiving the express delivery, turn on the Bluetooth and GPS positioning services of your mobile phone. Open the "Yuetong Card" applet, click "ETC Activation" to confirm receipt of the goods, and the detailed installation steps will be displayed. Open the Bluetooth electronic tag of the ETC device and turn on Bluetooth (quickly plug and unplug the Yuetong card twice or there is a Bluetooth switch button on the side). After it is turned on, there will usually be a flashing blue or green light, and "Bluetooth is on" will be displayed. Just connect and activate it with your mobile phone.

3. Problems and solutions that may occur during activation: The screen disappears after being displayed and the light does not flash. The device may be out of power. You can put it away first and let the car dry in the sun before trying again. Try to activate. If it keeps saying that the device cannot be found, you can change your phone and turn on Bluetooth and log in to the WeChat applet to try to activate it. If it shows that the activation is successful, you can use it.

4. Go to the ETC service station to apply. If you feel that the installation is troublesome and the waiting time is long, you can go directly to the service station and it can be done within two hours! The staff helped with the installation throughout the entire process, so you didn’t have to worry about your hands getting damaged. Service station address: Search for "ETC service station" directly on the map. It is usually at the exit of the expressway. Choose one close to your home and apply when you get off the expressway. Service hours: Generally 9:30-17:30, you can ask the lady when you get off the expressway.

5. Warm reminder: Yuetong Card is valid nationwide and offers a 50% discount on expressway fees. You can also apply for a Yuetong Card in non-Guangdong areas. As long as you have a bank card in Guangdong Province, you can apply through the mini program.
