As a CITIC Bank credit card holder, cardholders can activate the credit card through various fast credit card opening channels provided by the bank, including web page activation, WeChat activation, SMS activation, and phone activation. etc. The most convenient of them are the first two credit card activation channels:

1. Online activation on the official website

Visit the official website of CITIC Bank Credit Card and click to enter the bank according to the text prompts on the page. You can apply for it on the credit card activation page. Log in to the CITIC Bank credit card page, click "My Account - Card Settings - Credit Card Opening" on the interface, and enter the ID number, card information, and verification code as required to activate the card.

2. WeChat activation

Follow the CITIC Bank credit card WeChat account, enter "open card" in the official WeChat CITIC Bank account, and then the official account will automatically reply with a link to open the card, or Click "Card Application/Instalment" → "I Want to Apply for a Card" on the interface to activate.

3. Mobile app activation

Download the mobile app - Card Space on the CITIC Bank credit card website or app store, in the "Self-Service" column. Select "I want to open a card", enter the corresponding card number/ID number, and follow the prompts to activate.

4. Activation at business outlets

After receiving the credit card, you can bring your valid ID, credit card and password letter to the counter of CITIC Bank business outlet to open the card. There will be bank staff at the counter to guide and confirm. Information, reset password, etc. to complete activation.

5. For customer service phone activation, use the applicant’s mobile phone or home phone number registered with the bank to call the CITIC Bank customer service hotline 95558 or 40088-95558. After being connected, select 1 CITIC Bank Service, and then select 2 to enter the credit card service. Then follow the prompts to perform the voice card opening operation.

6. SMS activation

Use the applicant’s mobile phone registered with CITIC Bank to edit the text message “KK card number, last four digits of phone number” (such as KK12348765), or “KK card number, last number” "The last six digits of the four-digit ID number" (for example, KK1234876543), send it to: 106980095558 to activate the card.
