There are usually three ways to activate a credit card:
To activate it through the bank counter where the credit card is located, you need to present yourself, the original ID card and the credit card;
call the credit card service phone on the phone card to activate;
log in to credit card online banking and activate online.
service phone activation method:
dial the 24-hour customer service hotline shown on the back of the credit card, select the corresponding language, and then enter the cardholder's card number and inquiry password;
according to the voice prompt, select the card activation option under the menu of "credit card activation and password management";
enter the last 3 digits printed after the signature column on the back of the cardholder's credit card, and press # to confirm;
enter the cardholder's home phone number and press # to confirm;
enter 6 digits as the cardholder's transaction password and press # to confirm;
enter the 6-digit transaction password again and press # to confirm;
the transaction password was set successfully.
Online credit card activation method:
First log in to the online banking page of Bank of Communications credit card and enter the cardholder's card number and inquiry password;
please modify the query password in time after logging in;
after the initial password of the credit card is successfully modified, please log in to the online banking again;
After logging in for the second time, please click "Credit Card Activation" and enter the last 3 digits and home phone number printed on the signature column on the back of the credit card according to the prompts on the page;
after successful activation, enter 6 digits as the transaction password according to the prompt;
if the function of "confirm transaction with password" is not checked on the application form, the transaction mode can be changed to password+signature after setting.
