When discussing Bank of China’s fees for overseas ATM withdrawals, different bank card types and cash withdrawal methods will be different. First of all, Bank of China's handling fee is 3% of the international organization credit card cash withdrawal fee. UnionPay machines charge a maximum of 15 yuan per transaction. Whether it is a debit card or a credit card, the upper limit is 15 yuan. Secondly, the fee for withdrawing cash through the UnionPay system with a China Construction Bank debit card is 12 yuan plus a 1% handling fee (minimum 2 yuan), while for a credit card it is 12 yuan plus a 0.5% handling fee (minimum 2 yuan). ICBC's charging standard is that for cash withdrawals from UnionPay network ATMs, it is charged at 1% of the cash withdrawal amount, plus RMB 12, with a minimum of RMB 14 and a maximum of RMB 112. The Agricultural Bank of China's overseas UnionPay network's cash withdrawal fee is 1% of the cash withdrawal amount, plus an overseas handling fee of 12 yuan. If it is not within the UnionPay network, the handling fee will increase to 3% of the cash withdrawal amount, with a minimum of 3 US dollars or an equivalent amount in foreign currency. It is worth noting that the toll-free policies of various banks are not consistent. For example, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and China Construction Bank will implement new toll-free policies from January 1, 2017, while Bank of China will implement new toll-free policies on December 26, 2016. New free measures are in place, but inter-bank withdrawals often still come with additional fees.
