Bank cards (including credit cards) generally record account information using magnetic strips. The main precaution is to stay away from electrical appliances and strong magnetic fields.
Falling into water will generally not affect the magnetic information recorded in the credit card. The contents recorded in the card can still be read when the card is swiped. So you don't have to worry too much.
If you can no longer use it, please call the 24-hour customer service hotline of the Credit Card Center to apply for a new card. If you hold a chip card and there is still an offline balance in the card, please take your card to a bank counter or bank withdrawal machine to perform balance transfer or withdrawal operations. At the same time, please destroy the damaged card after receiving the new card to avoid confusion and risks.
