It is illegal to sell abandoned vehicles without cancellation, and once they are investigated, they will face high fines. Old cars selling scrap iron will not be written off, and the normal scrapping process cannot be carried out because the vehicles have been disposed of. The state has very strict supervision over the scrapping of vehicles, with the aim of preventing the spare parts of scrapped vehicles from being refurbished and sold again, causing potential safety hazards. Cancellation of vehicles must be scrapped first, and relevant recycling certificates can be obtained before handling.

It is illegal for vehicles to resell scrap iron privately. It is difficult to close their accounts. Many scrap iron factories resold by car owners can't issue valid recycling certificates, which leads to incomplete cancellation procedures. In this case, it is recommended that the owner personally go to the vehicle management office to ask the staff and communicate the solution. If the owner of a motor vehicle should cancel the registration of a motor vehicle according to law but fails to do so, the vehicle management department will suspend the registration of its newly purchased vehicle. The traffic police department also reminded car owners not to resell and disassemble scrapped vehicles privately, otherwise they will lose the right to license new cars. The law clearly stipulates that cars are not allowed to drive on the road after reaching retirement age, but it does not force them to be sent to the factory for scrapping and recycling. In other words, as long as there is a place to store it, you can handle it yourself, but you must not be on the road. If the traffic police find out, they will be severely punished.

1. If a vehicle sells scrap iron, it is required to submit an application form, a motor vehicle registration certificate, a license plate, a driving license and a copy of the scrap motor vehicle recycling certificate to the vehicle management office within seven days after the motor vehicle is disintegrated.

2. Then apply for cancellation of registration. According to the regulations, motor vehicle owners who meet the national compulsory scrapping standards should fill in the application form when selling motor vehicles to motor vehicle recycling enterprises.

3 scrapped school buses, buses, trucks and other operating vehicles shall be disintegrated under the supervision of the vehicle management office. A motor vehicle recycling enterprise shall, within seven days after the disintegration of a motor vehicle, submit an application form for recycling scrapped motor vehicles, a motor vehicle registration certificate, a license plate, a driving license and a copy of the recycling certificate to the vehicle management office for cancellation of registration.

"Motor vehicle registration regulations" Article 28 In addition to the circumstances stipulated in Article 27 of these Provisions, if a motor vehicle is under any of the following circumstances, the owner of the motor vehicle shall apply to the vehicle management office for cancellation of registration:

(1) The motor vehicle is lost;

(two) the motor vehicle is not used in China for some reason;

(3) Due to quality problems. In any of the following circumstances, the registered motor vehicle shall be deregistered at the vehicle management office:

(a) the motor vehicle registration is revoked according to law;

(two) motor vehicles that meet the national compulsory scrapping standards shall be confiscated and compulsory scrapping according to law.

In case of any of the circumstances specified in Items (2) and (3) of the first paragraph of this article, the owner of a motor vehicle shall deal with the road traffic safety violations and traffic accidents involving the vehicle before applying for cancellation of registration.
