Recommended reading modes, tools and methods

1, strategic consulting, editor-in-chief, Electronic Industry Press.

2. Marketing Consulting, edited by Fang, Electronic Industry Press.

3. Business Process Consulting, edited by Fang, Electronic Industry Press.

4.Exel's "Excellent Working Methods of McKinsey"

In addition to professional books on management consulting skills, the promotion of employees' own knowledge should first include books on basic knowledge, including basic economics, industrial economics, finance, accounting, finance, management, management economics and so on. This part of the study should determine some classic textbooks.

In economics, Samuelson Economics recommended here can be the first choice. In addition, Man Kun's Principles of Economics and Stiglitz's Economics can also be selected books, both of which are basic textbooks of economics. Man Kun's economic principles are the easiest to understand. Stiglitz's economics is characterized by emphasizing information economics and other contents, while Samuelson's book is more comprehensive, deeper than the other two and lacks energy.

At the same time, in economics, I personally think that the book Money and Banking should be added, which is more comprehensive in economics. I personally recommend mishkin's Money and Finance.

As far as the economics of industrial organization is concerned, the Modern Industrial Organization recommended here is already a classic, but the Entrepreneur-Contract Theory that Zhang personally thinks can be removed.

In management economics, the management economics recommended here is a good book.

Robbins' Management Science is a classic textbook based on management science, which can be used as a reference for Cüneyt's Management Science.

In corporate finance (finance), the classic is Ross's Corporate Finance or meyers's Principles of Corporate Finance mentioned here.

In finance, the Financial Market and Corporate Strategy recommended here contains more comprehensive contents, and can also be replaced by Boddy's Finance and John Hull's Introduction to Futures Options.

Accountants can choose domestic textbooks, but I can't think of a classic book in this part.

In addition, management, strategic management has recommended two books. Personally, I think David's strategic management can also be considered, which is clear in theory.

In marketing management, it is the marketing management of kotler.

Human resource management, I have read Desler's Human Resource Management.

Organizational behavior can consider Robbins' organizational behavior.

Three classic works

1. Economics

Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations

Marshall, Principles of Economics

Keynes, general theory

Zhang Wuchang's economic explanation (Chinese works, non-English papers)

Step 2 manage

Drucker, The Practice of Management

Michael porter's competitive strategy (Michael's three works, personally think this one is the most classic, and the basic ideas are all reflected, so I recommend reading this one).

Jetlow, positioning (although it was originally a theory of advertising communication, it has a great influence on management and is worth reading in person).

Michael Porter's What is Strategy (an article in Harvard Business Review, which profoundly expounds his strategic theory, is well worth reading).

Chandler, Strategy and Structure (I haven't read this book because of time and working abroad, but it's worth reading from the introduction and catalogue)

Mintzberg, the nature of managers' work

The Figure of the Master, edited by Mr. Wang Mingfu, is a good collection of cases, which belongs to a more realistic and in-depth book among domestic books.

In Buffett's letter to shareholders, although Buffett is famous for his investment, his investment theory actually embodies profound enterprise analysis and management concepts.

3. Biography

The Legend of McKinsey recommended in the bibliography is worth reading, because it is a biography of a consulting company, but it is not written in depth because of the author's level.

Relatively speaking, the following works are recommended:

Drucker's bystander

Si Long is my years in General Motors.

Wang Shi's Road and Dream is not as good as the above two books, but considering being an entrepreneur in China, I consider recommending this book.

4. Committed to the new economy

Long tail theory, the world is flat, blue ocean strategy.
