How to understand the transaction coding system
The trading code is a special code for futures trading by customers and trading members engaged in proprietary business.

The transaction code consists of 12 digits, with the first 4 digits being the member number and the last 8 digits being the customer number. Members and customers who meet the requirements of China Securities Regulatory Commission and Exchange may apply for customer numbers for different purposes such as hedging, arbitrage and speculation. When customers open accounts with different members, the customer number in the transaction code should be the same. Unless otherwise stipulated by the exchange. For example, when a customer opens a CICC account with a membership number of 00 12, assuming that the transaction code obtained is 00 120 1005678, the first four digits of 00 12 are the membership number and the last eight digits of 0 1005678 are the customer number. If the customer later opens an account with CICC 0 123, its new transaction code is 0 1230 1005678.

Members shall review the authenticity, accuracy and completeness of the application materials for customer account opening, and enter customer information and handle relevant procedures in accordance with the relevant provisions on the management of customer account opening in the futures market. Members shall establish customer account opening files, which shall be kept for at least 20 years from the date of termination of futures brokerage contracts.

In any of the following circumstances, the Exchange may cancel the trading code: (1) The customer's filing information is untrue; (2) The customer is identified as a market-forbidden person; (3) The customer applies for cancellation; (4) Other circumstances identified by the Exchange.

If the customer provides false information or the member assists the customer to open an account with false information, the trading ownership shall order the member to close the position within a time limit, cancel the trading code of the customer after closing the position, and deal with it in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for Handling Violations and Breaches of Contract of China Financial Futures Exchange.
