The period of validity refers to the time from the date of production to the expiration of the specified period. Drugs should meet the national drug standards. If the drug quality standard approved by the drug supervision and administration department of the State Council is higher than the national drug standard, it shall be implemented in accordance with the approved drug quality standard; If there is no national drug standard, it shall conform to the approved drug quality standard.
Legal basis: Article 49 of the Drug Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall be printed or marked with instructions as required.
Labels or instructions shall indicate the general name, ingredients, specifications, marketing license holders and their addresses, manufacturers and their addresses, approval number, product batch number, production date, expiration date, indications or functional indications, usage, dosage, contraindications, adverse reactions and precautions. The words in the labels and instructions should be clear, and the production date, expiration date and other matters should be clearly marked for easy identification.
The labels and instructions of narcotic drugs, psychotropic drugs, toxic drugs for medical use, radioactive drugs, drugs for external use and over-the-counter drugs shall indicate the prescribed signs.
