The difference between bean one and bean two
The difference between Bean One and Bean Two is that Bean Two covers soybeans produced in the United States and South America, which is the most inclusive soybean futures contract in the world, while Bean One covers China. The bean-one contract only allows non-GM soybeans to participate in delivery; Bean No.2 futures contract allows genetically modified soybeans and non-genetically modified soybeans to participate in delivery. Bean 2 futures contract allows genetically modified soybeans and non-genetically modified soybeans to participate in delivery. In terms of contract pricing, packaging is included in the contract price of bean 1, so the contract of bean 2 adopts the parallel way of bulk and bagging, taking into account the different packaging ways of imported and domestic soybeans, while the contract of bean 1 only adopts the bagged packaging way, which is consistent with the bagged way of domestic soybeans in spot circulation.
