If we are cheated online, we can get our money back by calling the police. But if it is overseas online fraud, or if the money has been squandered, then the money is likely to be gone.

Nowadays, with the popularity of the Internet, online fraud has become varied. Nowadays, common online fraud has the following forms:

(1) online shopping fraud

Its manifestations include publishing false information, selling at a discount to attract consumers' attention, and selling high imitation goods as genuine products. After the buyer pays, the criminals express the high imitation goods to the buyer and then disappear without a trace.

(2) Phishing fraud

Phishing fraud is actually a fraud by forging false websites and false information. Criminals use rich computer knowledge to make fake websites and links to cheat. The authenticity of their website is basically the same as that of brand stores in official website. Generally, it is manifested by sending false information to induce consumers to log on to their websites for consumption, and obtaining relevant identity information such as accounts and passwords of consumers by cloning, thus defrauding some consumers who lack network security knowledge.
