First of all, for professional courses, we must be eager to learn. Although the theoretical knowledge in college is far from practice, if you don't have theory, when it comes to practice, what others say about you is at a loss! With theory, you at least know what to do, but how to do it is practical experience!
Secondly, for basic subjects, I personally hate basic subjects, especially mathematics and morality. In fact, college students' ideology and morality have been formed, and Allen in the university is also Mao Gai. If you don't take the postgraduate entrance examination, it is enough to have a high school foundation, and you don't need further study! As for mathematics, the subjects I hate, whether it is probability theory or calculus, whether it is linear algebra or econometrics, are rubbish. I can assure you that you won't use them at work after graduation. You may not study hard, but you must pass! And public English. On the basis of your high school English, you must study hard. Without this, the exam will be more difficult! Besides, you will also learn spoken English, correspondence and telegrams, including foreign teachers' classes. You must learn well, because international trade must be based on English, either good or bad!
The above are practical comments on some subjects of international trade major in universities. If you want to take the exam, you must learn every subject well. Ignore what I said above!
Let me tell you about CET-6, which is a very important certificate for our major. Many companies will ask for your certificate when recruiting. It is better to have a certificate, so it will be much easier for you to find a good job! But many things can't be forced. If your English level is not very good, at least you have passed CET-4. Otherwise, finding a job is not a problem of finding or choosing a job, but a problem of not finding it!
Finally, talk about all kinds of certificates: you mentioned the computer grade certificate, whether it is national level 2 or national level 3. It is absolutely responsible to say that it is of no use to us professionals. If you want to engage in international trade, you will find that even if you get the certificate, you will never need it! Of course, if you are engaged in other industries, that is an exception! Although the computer grade certificate is useless, we must learn the OFFICE series, especially WORD and EXCEL.
After talking about the computer, I'll tell you about the certificates of customs declarant and voucher clerk!
Once I took an exam as a customs broker, I studied hard for several months and failed! It really makes me sad! Customs declaration is really difficult. If you want to take the exam, you have to be mentally prepared! From a practical point of view, the South still recognizes the certificate of customs declaration. If you plan to work in the south, or go to a customs declaration company or a freight forwarding company, you should be able to use it. As a simple trader like me, it doesn't make much difference whether it is available or not, because we leave the specific charter booking to the freight forwarding company! As for the reference materials, they are sold everywhere, and they are everywhere on the Internet, so I won't go into details!
Let's talk about the certificate of the voucher clerk first. Generally speaking, the gold content is very low, which basically means that no one will recognize it, that is, it is dispensable. But I think the knowledge of the voucher clerk is very practical. If you didn't go or have no chance to practice in a foreign trade company during your school days, you might as well learn this, so that you won't be ignorant at work!
There are merchandisers, who don't know much about it, because they haven't paid much attention to it, but it is said that the production enterprises in the south are more recognized, so it is better to learn and take exams!
The above is my opinion, which is all my experience after working for four years. I hope it works for you. If not, thank me for my efforts, hehe!
