Xia Shasha's Personal Interview
Tempering is the cutting-edge way to success.

Xia Shasha grew up in Hongkong and received secondary education in Australia. 17 years old, starting a business in downtown Melbourne. At that time, he was studying at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia, majoring in financial law and criminal law. He is the only foreign student in the whole law major. Established its first company: Australian Medical Law Center to provide legal advice and litigation entrustment for medical accidents and accidental injury claims.

In addition to establishing a legal center, Xia Shasha has also established a series of Australian Chinese medical groups, including "Chinese Orthopedic Clinic", "Chinese Beauty Clinic" and "Chinese Plastic Surgery Clinic", among which the orthopedic clinic is the largest of its kind in Victoria.

This precious experience made Xia Shasha face up to his "genius" status. He found that his experience and level still have a lot of room for improvement, and the intelligence of a "genius" is far from that of a real entrepreneur. So he finally decided to go back to work.

In 2002, Xia Shasha returned to Hongkong, joined the head office of Standard Chartered Bank and worked in the Marketing Department of Greater China. Xia Shasha, after all, is a person who has a strict plan for career development. He is not satisfied with just engaging in a certain field of finance. Therefore, he later chose CITIC Capital Market Holdings Limited (now renamed CITIC Securities International Limited), which joined CITIC System in Hong Kong, as the director of securities management, responsible for the daily operation of Hong Kong securities corporation and its branches, stock trading and settlement, and business dealings with CITIC Ka Wah Bank in Hong Kong. After working in the financial industry, I actively studied after work, improved my professional knowledge and obtained various licenses in Hong Kong.

In 2004, Xia Shasha joined Ruifu Group, the largest futures company in the world, and was appreciated by Liu Zhiwei, president and financial master of Ruifu Hong Kong, for his aura and vision. A few months later, with excellent performance, he was promoted to vice president of Ruifu Hong Kong, and concurrently served as chief lecturer and analyst in Hong Kong. Later, the company was stationed in Beijing as the general representative of Chinese mainland, responsible for the business development and promotion in Greater China, and at the same time responsible for supervising the special inter-bank trading platform for large customers and institutional customers. Later, Xia Shasha joined Sun Hung Kai Financial Group and successively served as Vice President (business development), President and representative of China.

Success, good at seizing opportunities.

Xia Shasha, 30, is mature beyond his age. He said that this was an early unsuccessful venture and the ups and downs of business in recent years gave him a deeper understanding of society than his peers.

China Cornerstone Capital Private Equity Fund founded by Xia Shasha started trial operation in 2009, helping domestic small and medium-sized private enterprises to list in the United States, Canada and Frankfurt. The last project is an enterprise in Shanxi, which has been listed in the United States. Now that the stock market is in a downturn, Xia Shasha prefers to invest in some potential small and medium-sized enterprises. He believes that real income points to the future.

Responsibility, the responsibility of the winner

As a member of Latro Law Association, Hong Kong Management Professional Association, Vice President and Executive Member of Hong Kong Young Managers Association, and China Young Entrepreneurs Association, Xia Shasha always actively participates in activities organized by trade associations, so that he can get in touch with a good communication platform and have more room for development.

Due to the immaturity of the domestic financial derivatives market and the deepening of financial globalization, Xia Shasha deeply feels that it will bring hidden dangers to the country's financial security in the long run. Therefore, with the support of all walks of life, he initiated the establishment of China Financial Derivatives Research Institute, aiming to help the government improve the financial market system and enhance the country's ability to cope with the global financial crisis.

Enjoy, low-key luxury

Xia Shasha also has an identity-post-80s collector. Xia Shasha's collection is dominated by jade, agarwood, dzi beads and old rhinoceros horn products, which is regarded as "non-mainstream" in the collection compared with traditional calligraphy and painting and porcelain. For such a choice, he has his own explanation: "Good porcelain is too expensive, so there is no need to invest a lot of money in a utensil;" China's paintings and calligraphy are too deep, and the pricing system is uncertain. What you like is relatively easy to identify and get started, so you can't waste too much energy on identifying authenticity. Moreover, it must have the unique cultural connotation of China. It is best that the material itself has certain economic value and is' hard currency'. " As a result, the simplicity demanded by young people, the value wanted by financiers and the culture pursued by individuals are naturally unified in his collection.

The desire to realize cultural and consumption revival

A gentleman wears jade. Xia Shasha, who deals with money, seems unwilling to call himself a gentleman, but Hetian jade is his favorite collection. He is a jade, but he doesn't set foot in jade with crazy price. He thinks that all people who share white jade are bosom friends. White jade is restrained, jade is sharp, men hide jade and talk about jade, and jade is more of a woman's patent. Hetian jade has appreciated dozens of times in the past two years, and his casual pride shows that he has benefited a lot here. However, he still has more regrets-modern people have lost the most basic judgment on traditional culture. He hopes that one day, ordinary people can also name cultural relics and see the age of cultural relics in China. Xia Shasha has also collected dzi beads for more than 1000 years. He once released the excellent 108 dzi beads to Weibo, hoping to find an insider. Only one person in nearly a hundred replies gave the answer vaguely. Growing up in Hong Kong, he feels that Hong Kong has done a good job in protecting culture. Traditional festivals are lively, and the lion dance in the shop is full of Chinese flavor. "However, China's thousands of years of culture, with only a few decades of faults, is easy to repair."

Aquilaria sinensis can calm young people.

Four or five years ago, when it came to agarwood collection, few people in the market knew that a few thousand dollars could buy a large piece. Today, good agarwood is priceless. Xia Shasha said: "I was the first to play, that is, I entered the market when everyone didn't know what agarwood was." He seems to like agarwood very much. "Do you know a knife? Both Xiangdao and Tea Ceremony are traditional cultures in China, and the tea ceremony has almost recovered, but people's understanding of Xiangdao is very insufficient, and it is even considered to be unique to India and the Middle East. " Aquilaria sinensis is a precious traditional Chinese medicine, which has the functions of calming the nerves and preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases. It is a collectible that can be "absorbed" and a top consumer product. Xia Shasha often sits quietly in the room with friends, lights a small piece of agarwood worth several hundred thousand yuan, relaxes for several hours, and feels the inner peace brought by that unique fragrance. "It's just that under the current consumption concept, most people can accept a banquet of hundreds of thousands, but they can't accept our consumption." Xia Shasha said frankly. Fortunately, some friends around him have successively opened some incense houses and incense consulting companies. This youth-driven revival may be attributed to the power of culture.

After several years of collection, what Xia Shasha gained the most was the change of mentality-silence. Traditional culture requires participants to take it lightly and play carefully. After a long time, his personality has also changed, and his inner peace has made him more considerate in dealing with people. He also talked about some young people who often take part in auctions, some of whom are his friends. He told us that many of these people were invited by their families to participate in the auction, and their elders hoped that they would feel the gains and losses of wealth in the process of placarding. Even if you have more wealth, you can only own a lot for a few seconds, and the next second belongs to someone else. If you are lucky enough to buy your favorite lot, the elders hope that young people will feel the cultural side of wealth. A work of art can make people learn to be quiet, because it takes a lot of experience to study its meaning and connotation. Wealth and culture must match, and entrepreneurs with cultural and artistic accomplishments can succeed. Xia Shasha realized this long ago, and the growth of culture also brought him wealth. "China's cultural history has been broken for one hundred years, and China people have been busy with other things, so they let others learn it carelessly. However, with the development of China's economy, China's art and culture will surely become the focus of the world in the future.
