Can police officers do business in China?
Prosecutors in China can't do business, or they will be expelled from public office.

First, traffic police also belong to civil servants. Due to the adjustment of the civil service law, the government has issued relevant policies and regulations. It is strictly forbidden for the police to start enterprises in the name of individuals or others, or to engage in profit-making business activities in the form of shares, intermediary and employment. It is strictly forbidden for the families of policemen to engage in business activities in the entertainment industry, or to engage in business activities related to their functions and powers within their jurisdiction.

Two. Chapter IX Punishment Article 53 of the Civil Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) Civil Servants must abide by discipline and may not commit any of the following acts:

1. Engage in or participate in profit-making activities and hold concurrent positions in enterprises or other profit-making organizations.

2. Article 27 of the Regulations on the Punishment of Civil Servants of Administrative Organs, who engages in or participates in profit-making activities and holds concurrent positions in enterprises or other profit-making organizations, shall be given demerit or gross demerit; If the circumstances are serious, demotion or dismissal shall be given; If the circumstances are serious, they shall be dismissed.

3.
