1, different effects

Nymex crude oil mainly represents the price of crude oil in the United States, and its influence is mainly limited to the United States. Brent crude oil is more global representative and is the benchmark of market oil price. At present, more than 65% of the world's real crude oil is priced by Brent system.

2. Different crude oil producing areas

Brent is light and low-sulfur crude oil produced in Brent and Nigennan oilfields in the North Sea, while nymex crude oil refers to American crude oil traded in NYMEX. In other words, the two kinds of crude oil are produced in different places.

3. Different exchanges

Brent crude oil is mainly traded in London commodity futures market, while nymex crude oil is mainly traded in New York commodity futures exchange, which means that the futures trading places of the two crude oils are also very different.
