On October 19, the three major A-share indexes opened slightly lower. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.25% to 3073.26 points, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.3% to 11154.13 points, and the ChiNext Index fell 0.28% to 2440.03 points. ; On the market, packaging materials, batteries, medical services, shipping ports, pharmaceutical and commercial sectors were among the top gainers. Affected by the sharp fall in European natural gas futures prices, gas led the decline, unified large markets, tourist hotels, complete automobiles, and air energy heat pumps. Sectors such as , Civil Explosion Concepts and other sectors were among the top decliners. Highly popular stocks continue to be popular. The bidding of Guomai Technology has reached the daily limit, out of 8 consecutive boards, Wanfang Development has 7 consecutive boards, Shuangcheng Pharmaceutical, Nantian Information, etc. have opened higher.

FTSE China A50 Index futures opened down 0.32%. The Hang Seng Index opened down 0.64%. The Nikkei 225 Index opened up 0.3% to 27225.17 points; the Topix Index opened basically unchanged at 1901.42 points. South Korea's KOSPI index opened basically unchanged at 2,249.35 points.

U.S. stocks closed higher again overnight, with corporate earnings reports boosting bullish sentiment. The Dow rose 337.98 points, or 1.12%, to 30523.80 points; the Nasdaq rose 96.60 points, or 0.9%, to 10772.40 points; the S&P 500 rose 42.03 points, or 1.14%, to 3719.98 points. In terms of European stocks, the German DAX30 index rose 0.92%, the British FTSE 100 index rose 0.24%, the French CAC40 index rose 0.44%, and the European Stoxx 50 index rose 0.64%.
