Tongcheng Luting Cargo Terminal, the second phase project of Jianghuai Watershed, was built in Tongcheng Port Area of Anqing Port. Construction started in August 2022. At present, the second phase project of diverting water from the Yangtze River to Huaihe River is advancing the preliminary work. The Water Conservancy Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources has completed the review of the feasibility study report of the project in August this year, and the Provincial Water Diversion Group is organizing the revision and improvement. After completion, it will be submitted for approval according to procedures, and construction is planned to start in 2022.
