Rapeseed meal (hereinafter referred to as "rapeseed meal") futures, together with rapeseed meal (hereinafter referred to as "rapeseed meal") futures, were officially listed on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange on February 28th, 20 12. They are the third and fourth new futures varieties in the domestic commodity market in 20 12 years after silver futures and glass futures.

Rapeseed and rapeseed meal are important raw materials for China's oil and feed industry. Rapeseed futures have been running smoothly since they were listed on Zhengzhou Stock Exchange in 2007, and their functions have been gradually exerted, which has been recognized and supported by all participants in the market. However, carrying out rapeseed and rapeseed meal futures trading in China can form a relatively complete rapeseed industrial chain futures variety with the existing rapeseed oil futures, improve the market price formation mechanism, provide farmers and subsequent industrial chain enterprises with risk management tools to avoid price fluctuations and stabilize production and operation, and promote the stable and healthy development of related industries.
