Qianlong Bao Tong was the currency in circulation during Qianlong period. Coins were minted in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736- 1795), and the back was covered with traditional Chinese characters, representing the Mint Bureau. Gan Long Bao Tong coins are about 2.2-2.5cm in diameter and 2.4-4.8g in weight. The words "Gan Long Bao Tong" on the front of the coin are in regular script, and the words "Baoquan" on the back are in Manchu.
Emperor Qianlong ascended the throne in A.D. 1735, and during his 60 years in office, he created the last glorious dynasty in feudal society. Later, it was said that wearing the "Gan Long Bao Tong" copper coin can ward off evil spirits (people can occasionally see that some people still wear the ancient coins of Bao Tong, Gan Long), and it is loved by collectors because of its homophonic meaning of "gathering wealth".
