What does coupling mean?
When two or more circuits form a network, if the current or voltage in one circuit changes, it can affect other circuits to make similar changes. This network is called a coupling circuit. The function of coupling is to transfer the energy of one circuit to other circuits.

In electronic circuits, when several circuits form a network with common impedance, the change of voltage or current in one circuit can make other circuits change accordingly. According to the nature of common impedance, it can be divided into resistance coupling, inductance coupling, capacitance coupling and resistance-capacitance coupling.

Coupling defect

Tightly coupled systems have the following disadvantages in the development stage:

The modification of one module will produce ripple effect, and other modules need to be modified accordingly.

Due to the interdependence between modules, the combination of modules will require more energy and time.

Because a module has many dependent modules, the reusability of the module is very low.
