Do futures practitioners have to pass two courses at one time?
Futures business doesn't have to take two courses at a time. The qualification examination subjects for futures practitioners are basic knowledge of futures and futures laws and regulations. If you pass both subjects, you can get the futures qualification certificate. However, it is not required to pass two subjects at the same time in one exam, and it is also possible to pass twice.

The single subject is valid for four years. After passing two exams, you will get a certificate of achievement, which will be valid for a long time and be managed electronically. Candidates can check or print the result certificate on the website of China Futures Association. After obtaining the certificate of achievement, candidates can apply to China Futures Association for qualification if they work in an operating institution engaged in futures business.

The latest editions of Basic Knowledge of Futures and Futures Laws and Regulations refer to Basic Knowledge of Futures and Derivatives (Third Edition) and Futures Laws and Regulations and Professional Ethics respectively. For details, please refer to "Qualification Examination/Examination Information" on the website of China Futures Association.
