Not as good as futures.
If I invest in stocks and futures selectively, of course I prefer to invest in stocks rather than futures for the following reasons.

Reason one: Because I am a securities practitioner, I am more professional and familiar with securities. If I invest, I must choose my familiar industry.

I only know a little about futures, but I really don't know how deep the water is in the futures market. After more than ten years of realization, the stock market has roughly understood the moisture of the stock market, and some measures can be taken to avoid stock market risks.

The real reason for not choosing to invest in futures is that you are not really familiar with the futures market. After all, you are not a futures practitioner, and naturally you will not choose to invest in unfamiliar products.

Reason 2: Because my personal investment style is "steady" and the stock market is more suitable for steady investment, I always feel that the risk of the futures market is far greater than that of the stock market and it is not suitable for steady investors to participate.

People who invest in futures are generally more radical investors to invest. After all, futures are particularly flexible, and it is difficult for people without certain restraint and investment ability to survive in the futures market.

The most typical thing is that the volatility of futures market is relatively large, and the potential risk is far greater than that of stock market. It is more suitable for gamblers to invest, but not for steady people to invest. This is one of the main factors that do not choose to invest in futures.

Reason 3: Because my personal investment purpose is "not to borrow money for stock trading" and I habitually use idle funds for stock trading, I will never enlarge leverage or open margin trading, let alone use borrowers to invest in the stock market. I always thought it was a wrong investment.

Futures are different. Futures are self-leveraged. By default, self-leverage means that you have to borrow money for stock trading. I can't accept this. This reason is the most critical point of not choosing to invest in futures.

Through the comprehensive analysis of the above three reasons, we know that we would rather invest in stocks than futures, mainly because we are unfamiliar with futures and feel that it is not suitable for investing in futures. The biggest taboo is not to borrow money to invest. Borrowing money to invest has already lost at the starting line, so there is no need to invest. Borrowing money for stock trading is gambling, not investment.
