In order to earn more money, Guo worked as a newspaper boy, washing dishes and greeting guests at the entrance of the hotel. At work, he was used to seeing other people's ugly faces, so he secretly vowed to get ahead.

Finally, through his own efforts, Guo was admitted to a school in Japan with an excellent score of 1982. In order to make his life easier and reassure his mother at home, he worked part-time during college and supported himself by his own hands.

After graduating from college, Guo went to work at Sheraton Hotel. After work, he found that many Japanese traveled back to Taipei, and the number was increasing. So at 1990, he founded his own travel agency called Tianxi Travel Agency, which was specially used to operate Japanese tourism. In this way, Guo embarked on the road of getting rich.

Divorce after bankruptcy

1990 to 2000, Tianxi Travel Agency founded by Guo was in full swing. Because Guo's travel agency defined itself as "serving with heart", in those years, more and more people came to Taiwan from Japan, which also brought Guo a lot of income. At that time, almost all the tourism in Taiwan Province Province developed rapidly under the drive of Guo.

In 2004, Guo's worth reached NT$ 4 billion, and people affectionately called him "the godfather of exquisite tourism in Japan".

2007 was Guo's happiest year. This year, he ushered in his own wedding and married the woman he liked. His wife is Shin Shin Xiangzi, the daughter of the richest man in Dai Shan Hot Springs, Ishikawa Prefecture.
