According to Aicha's enquiry, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx or HKEx in English) was formally merged by the Stock Exchange, the Futures Exchange and the Clearing Company on March 6, 2000, and the merged HKEx was listed on the Stock Exchange by way of introduction on June 27, 2000. HKEx is a major exchange in the world and a holding company listed in Hong Kong. It operates exchanges in Hong Kong and London, and its members include Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK), Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited, Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Options Clearing Company Limited and Hong Kong Futures Clearing Company Limited.
