Over the past 50 years, our institute has focused on the development of rare metals, nonferrous metals, precious metals and ferrous metals in Xinjiang, and completed more than 600 scientific research projects, of which 65 have won national, autonomous regional and ministerial scientific and technological achievement awards. It provides advanced technology for the construction and development of Cocotohai Rare Mine, Axi Gold Mine and Xinjiang Lithium Salt Factory. In the field of mining development, a through-train service system of mining, smelting, testing, design, production guidance and technical training has been formed. In terms of new materials, a number of high-purity lithium rubidium cesium salt production lines have been built successively, and the products sell well at home and abroad. It has become the R&D and production base of high-purity lithium rubidium cesium new materials, lithium-ion battery materials, color tube materials and military supporting materials in China. In addition, he undertook the quality inspection function of non-ferrous metal products in the autonomous region, presided over the research on analytical methods of rare metal lithium rubidium cesium and the formulation of product standards. He is currently the director of the National Academic Committee on Lithium, Rubidium and Cesium, a member of the National Technical Standards Committee for Rare Metal Products, and a national licensing unit for scientific research and production of weapons and equipment. In 2006, it was awarded the title of "A-level Science and Technology Credit" unit in Urumqi. 200/KLOC-0 passed the ISO900 1:2000 quality system certification in September. We will adhere to the tenet of "quality first, reputation first, science and technology first, customer first" for a long time, and adhere to the quality policy of "science and technology create fine products, quality strives for development, whole process control and customer-centered" to provide better and more perfect services to customers.

With the deepening of market economy, our institute has successively built high-purity lithium rubidium cesium salt and metal production line, high-purity lithium salt powder material production line, lithium rubidium cesium chemical reagent factory, lithium battery, lithium ion battery, cadmium nickel and nickel-hydrogen battery industrial centers. All kinds of new products can be used in domestic and foreign markets. Our institute has become an important R&D and production base of high-purity lithium, rubidium, cesium salts, powder materials, alloys and new metal materials in China. Now he is a member of China Vacuum Electronics and Special Metal Materials Branch.
