First, you have to open a futures account (open accounts in various futures companies) before you can trade. Futures is a standardized tradable contract with commodities as the subject matter, and commodities are delivered according to the agreed time limit. At present, there are four futures exchanges in China: Zhengzhou Futures Exchange, Dalian Futures Exchange, Shanghai Futures Exchange and China Financial Futures Exchange. The main trading varieties are: agricultural products, precious metals, energy and chemicals, derivatives and industrial products.

Futures are traded by margin, and margin trading is the standard contract of goods, not the goods themselves. The trading method is T+0, and the trading time is different: domestic futures trading time is 9: 00 am-11:00, afternoon 13:30- 15:00, and night trading time is 25: 00.
