In wireless communication, the concept of relay refers to allowing a large number of users to share a relatively small number of channels in a cell, that is, allocating channels to each user as needed from the available channel library.
In the relay wireless system, each user only allocates one channel when there is a call, and once the call is terminated, the previously occupied channel immediately returns to the available channel library.
According to the statistical data of user behavior, relay makes a fixed number of channels or lines serve a larger random user group. Telephone companies decide the number of lines to be allocated in an office building with hundreds of telephones according to the relay theory.
